Synopsis :
Yuuno Scraia is a boy from another world with magical abilities who came to Earth in order to collect the Jewel Seeds that due to an unfortunate incident, now lay scattered over the planet. The Jewel Seed contains great magical power and using it can be dangerous as it has a price. In one of Yunno's efforts to collect a Jewel Seed he uses too much magic and almost dies. He reverts to the form of a ferret to save himself and magically calls out for help.

Takamachi Nanoha a third grader elementary school girl hears his call for help and goes in search of him. After some adventure, she decides to help Yunno in his quest to collect all the Jewel Seeds in order to keep her friends and city safe. To aid Nanoha, Yunno grants her the Raging Heart, a magical jewel that transforms her into Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and so her story begins.
