a high school student named Kazuki who, for as long as he can remember, has always seen visions of giant robots engaged in combat--a phenomenon that has caused him much teasing and embarrassment. Things change for the young man, however, when he is sucked into a parallel dimension where the mecha battles of his dreams are actually taking place. His father, a research scientist studying the concept of inter-dimensional travel is working on the technology to bring Kazuki home, but it could take years. In the meantime, Kazuki will just have to stay in the world of his visions and help in the war effort.
